Eligor
Eligor was founded in 1978 by Jacque Greilsamer.
In the beginning, the brand name Eligor, was born from the association of two words: Elite and Vigor.
The names of two auto garages that belonged to Mr. Greilsamer's father.

Up to 1988 Eligor kept on producing mostly popular cars from the 1930's to the 1970's period.
In 1988, "LBS Camions" was created. LBS focused on manufacturing model trucks.
In 1996, Paul et Anne-Marie Vullierme, bought LBS/Eligor and regrouped all of the group's activities under one name: Eligor.
In 1999, Eligor decided to export their products oversea and opened a sales and distribution office in the United States: Eligor Inc.
In 2002, Eligor, whose activity over the past 15 years had been mostly oriented towards the manufacturing of model trucks started producing miniature cars again when it introduced the new Megane by Renault. |
