Financial Education Project “Eu e a Minha Reforma”
(Me and My Retirement)

Eu e a Minha Reforma is a programme that adresses a social problem: the lack of financial and digital literacy of people over 55.
It is a partnership between Fundação António Cupertino de Miranda and Matosinhos, Maia, Porto, Santo Tirso, Valongo and Vila Nova de Gaia.

It is an empowering programme. It aims to transfer knowledge and to develop skills that allow correct and informed financial decision-making, improving risk assessment capacity, preventing fraud as well as other situations which can compromise financial sustainability and seriously harm the well-being and quality of life of each one, with family and social costs. |

In addition to financial training, participants will have the opportunity to develop digital skills, which will allow them to benefit from using digital services, namely financial services available to all citizens.

The programme foresees the realization of several initiatives, among which the “Financial Education Laboratories” stand out, which will take place in person or online, between September 2020 and December 2022 and will count with the participation of many partners as the Portuguese Insurance Association, Banco de Portugal, the Portuguese Securities Market Commission and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
